That’s why for this month’s company spotlight we’re featuring a star DiRAD employee, Craig D, who exemplifies what it means to grow with us.
You’ve been at DiRAD for around 5 years now. How has your job evolved/changed?
After years of working in a call center, I now find myself on the other side. I used to be the agent submitting tickets, hoping someone could help resolve an issue. Now, I’m the one responsible for delivering those resolutions.
Looking back at your career journey so far, what key experiences or decisions do you believe have significantly contributed to your growth?
There was a point during my time here when I decided this wasn’t just a job where I came to earn a paycheck—it was a place I wanted to invest in. Once I made that shift in mindset, the fulfillment I started to experience was on a whole new level.
How has DiRAD helped you grow?
I shared my intentions to grow within the company with my manager at the time, and they truly took my words to heart. From that point on, they mentored me and helped shape me into a strong candidate for future opportunities within the organization.
What are some of the skills or knowledge areas you are actively developing or plan to develop to enhance your career in the coming years?
When it comes to supporting the call center, I’ve made it a point to learn as much as I can so I’m prepared for whatever challenges come up. I’ve taken detailed notes and created documentation to solidify and share the knowledge I’ve gained along the way.
What are your favorite aspects of your job?
I genuinely enjoy finding solutions, no matter how long it takes. I also have a deep appreciation for learning things outside of the call center, always looking for new ways I can contribute and add value to the company as a whole.
Are there any mentors, professional networks, or resources that have been particularly valuable in supporting your career growth, and what advice would you give someone seeking similar guidance?
Brandon H. has been instrumental to my growth, taking me under his wing and allowing me to absorb as much knowledge and experience as possible.
