At DiRAD, we treat our employees like family. Our office is a safe place, full of communication and maybe even a few pets. We love to highlight the incredible folks who make us the company we are by interviewing them and sharing their responses in our company spotlight.

This month’s company spotlight is on Lindsey Brundege, the business development director. She has helped many private companies and government agencies in her time at DiRAD, but she has a special place in her heart for one area in particular – nonprofits. For that, we know her as the technology consultant with heart. Here’s a deeper look into who she is!

How long have you been at DiRAD?

It will be 3 years on April 16th.

What inspired you to get into your field?

I had worked some time in the healthcare field and decided I needed a change. It wasn’t until after working a while at DiRAD that I found my passion in our technologies. Once I saw the impact our solutions made, I felt instant gratification – I was part of something much bigger that could help benefit many.

What is your favorite piece of technology?

My biggest passion within our technology offerings falls within the domestic violence space. There is a domestic violence shelter project close to my heart – We were able to implement a way for women experiencing domestic violence to discreetly text for help. My favorite piece of technology would have to be cameras. I’ve always been surrounded by photographers. It really captures natural beauty, or raw emotion and has such an impact.

What are your favorite hobbies?

This would be a toss-up between photography and cooking. Cooking is a part of my “love language.” It brings me so much joy to create something for my family and friends to enjoy together. As for photography, I appreciate the ability to create memories that last a lifetime.

What word would you use to describe the company culture at DiRAD?

Communicative.

Could you tell us more about home, Lindsey?

I have two amazing daughters who are so full of happiness and love. They make me so incredibly proud every single day. I married my best friend, Jerry, so that makes life fun and interesting. We are both super motivated, so we are always working on our next big goal. We also have 2 dogs, Cash Bodhi and June Carter (can’t tell I love music, can you?) and 2 cats, Moos “Big Mike” and Frankie.

What’s your favorite quote?

“She never looked nice. She looked like art and art wasn’t supposed to look nice. It was supposed to make  you feel something.” – Rainbow Rowell
