Primary Responsibilities:

  • Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, securing, monitoring, and troubleshooting a hybrid infrastructure including UNIX, Linux, Windows and MACs
  • Troubleshoots and solves complex network connectivity problems.
  • Experience with security hardware and software technologies, including Firewalls, switches, digital certificates, and web security architecture.
  • Configure, maintain, and manage IPSec and SSL Virtual Private Networks environments.
  • Implement hardware, install patches, and perform periodical upgrades.
  • Ensures reliable and secure communications across all endpoints.
  • Monitor voice platform to ensure environment is at optimal performance
  • Conduct cybersecurity-related investigations (Implement, analyze, and suggest/resolve findings from vulnerability scans and penetration tests)
  • Ensure a robust logging infrastructure using Splunk and related open-source tools
  • Develop scripts to automate repetitive networking & security administrative processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs and scripting languages commonly used for network automation such as JavaScript.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Job Qualifications:

  • Background check required

Education:

  • A BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent, Master’s Degree a plus.

Experience:

  • Installation and support of customer solutions
  • Research and Development Activities
  • Pre-Sale Support
  • Networking experience a must, VoIP a plus
  • Experience/Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Genesys Cloud/PureConnect Certification a big plus
  • Customer communications skills
  • Highly technical background
